Herbal and Eco-Somatic Support for Sensitive Folks

Remembering. Reclaiming. Re-wilding

This is a space for remembering that your body is an extension of the earth, that your sensitivities are your greatest gifts, and that healing is not an individual burden but a communal and collective responsibility.

At Earthen Spirit Apothecary, I offer herbal, eco-somatic, and spiritual care to create a wholistic and accessible model of care for those who are reclaiming connection to their own bodies.

Informed by my own experience of navigating the medical industrial complex with chronic illness, care here is meant to offer a supportive and empowering space for those that have been failed by or even harmed by the systems in place.

Care here is meant to be an form of social justice, of community advocacy- a safe place for you to land and find accessible resources, information, and tools to support your journey.

Here, healing is not about fixing. It is about reweaving connection — with your body, your nervous system, the land beneath you, and the stories that live inside you.

The name “Earthen Spirit” serves as a reminder that the Earth, Rivers, Plants, Fungi and all other Beings are sentient, intelligent life forces living among us that we as humans are meant to live in reciprocity with— for the health of ourselves & the divinely orchestrated ecosystem we are a part of.

Here healing is not linear nor individual nor sterile. It is a spiral. It is relational. It is wild.

We've become disconnected from our bodies (and the Earth), for many reasons- trauma, conditioning, illness. This straying from our own sensitivities and knowings prevents us from accessing the wisdom, magic, and connection that comes from communing with our internal and external landscapes. This is a space for you to remember- to fully land within your own body and reclaim your own sovereignty, pleasure, agency, and creative potential.

Right relationship with land is at the center of the work.

For true healing to take place we must acknowledge it is not an individual journey but a collaborative effort between all beings. We are inextricable from our ecosystems and our health is dependent on the land and communities we call home. Coming back into a reciprocial relationship with place is an act of love to yourself and the Earth that birthed you into being. It is an act of liberation. It is a sacred role that is necessary now more than ever as we work to untangle ourselves from the harm of colonial violence and domination culture to come back into harmony with ourselves, each other, and the more-than-human world.

Made in Co-Creation with the Laurel Highlands

Earthen Spirit Apothecary was cultivated amongst this magic and ancient land in the midst of Appalachia where the Youghiogheny river flows north defiantly.  All work here has been and continues to be informed by the songs she sings and the stories she tells.

All wild-crafted medicines are cultivated here in small batches in accordance with the seasons. Permission is always asked. Reverence is always given.

Chronic Illness Support

“We can sense the world around us only because we are entirely a part of this world, because - by virtue of our own carnal density and dynamism - we are wholly embedded in the depths of the earthly sensuous. We can feel the tangible textures, sounds and shapes of the biosphere because we are tangible, resonant, audible shapes in our own right. We are born of these very waters, this very air, this loamy soil, this sunlight. Nourished and sustained by the substance of the breathing earth, we are flesh of its flesh. We are neither pure spirits nor pure minds, but are sensitive and sentient bodies able to be seen, heard, tasted, touched by all the beings around us.”
